*Subject:* Permission to invite PMI/AIAA members to a Distinguished
Lecture

Dear Dean Sri,

As you know already we have a Point Lobos Section of AIAA and the
majority of our members are NPS faculty and students. Also, we have a
Monterey-Bay Chapter of PMI, and again a lot of our faculty members
(primarily from the Business School) are PMI members. However, we also
have some members outside NPS. We meet regularly for a joint
lecture/dinner and would like to use an excellent opportunity you gave
us (the Distinguished Lecture by John Nash) to do it again.

I would like to ask your permission to send the following invitation
to
those members of AIAA/PMI, who are outside NPS to join us for this
terrific event. We are talking about 30 people of such members.
Afterwards we plan to gather at the Trident room for a social hour (I
know that you will be gathering at the Quarterdeck, so there will be
no
schedule conflict). Our PoC for this event, Glen Carl, is a member of
both AIAA and PMI, so he will handle reservations.

It would be good if we could send it out sometime Monday to allow more
time for social hour arrangements.

Very Respectfully,

Oleg Yakimenko
