Hi all ... many thanks for the collective energy to make our May 5
event tremendous. Our continued efforts also have the June 2 awards
celebration looking super fun and engaging. So a few updates on that
front, for those not at the last couple meetings.
First, there will NOT be a Friday morning meeting this week. No
meeting...sleep in tomorrow.
Second, for those interested in helping review the jury video that we
recorded, a small group is gathering next Wednesday at 5 p.m. at NBBJ
to identify the best content and make some rough editing decisions.
Please let me know if you will attend so we can plan accordingly.
Third, some June 2 particulars:
- Daniels Recital Hall (5th Ave & Marion St), 5:30 p.m., light food
and cash bar
- please tell your friends and colleagues! we'll soon have a more
concise description to help you all market the event, so stay tuned.
- we have many program elements in the works ... some highlights:
running loop of all 33 submittals; quick profiles of all 11
shortlisted projects; announcement of winners with jury comments;
short video clips from the jury's roundtable discussion; program
history and introduction; Q&A session with members of winning teams
Please let us know if you have ideas for other networks to engage, re
marketing ... and of course, post other ideas for recognizing and
celebrating this great set of projects and teams.
Thanks! Jared.
