Thanks for contacting Blair about possibly speaking for a WMIG Case
Study, I have added the project to the Case Study outline below. I
have not gotten any other interested parties to comment on the "Black
and Grey" case study outline so I am having a hard time gauging if
there is any other interest.
Right now Dockside Green is the only project on the outline that has
won a WMIG award, and the only that has any black water treatment. I
could see pairing Dockside Green with the Amazon.com projects black
water local jurisdictional hurdles, but I think we still need a
shnazzy local WMIG project for the event. Any ideas COTE?

Subject: FW: blackwater treatment
Hi Jesse,
I briefly worked with this great Mechanical Engineer who has a lot of
knowledge & energy named Blair McCarry from Stantec in Vancouver. He
was also the Mech'l Engineer on Dockside Green which won a WMIG Award
in 2009. As of a week or two ago Peter Busby asked him to join P+W
Vancouver and is working out of that office exclusively.
I asked him below if he knew if he'd be in Seattle sometime in January
or February since he is now working on another project with our
office. I thought he could talk about the many options & sides of
blackwater treatment. Let me know if you're interested. He is really a
funny guy, with lots of personality. The problem would be nailing down
a time for him to be here.
take it easy,
