Hello Kim!
Thanks for reaching out.
You have my full permission to sell my artwork :)
I wish I could attend lightbox expo! So glad that you guys are doing well.
(Best loves from Sydney)
Sincerely,
Alyssa
Hello,
Sorry I wanted to follow up on this email and ask further details about how the selling process will go.
Will I be receiving any profit off this print? And are bank details needed to be shared?
Would like a response:)
Thanks,
Alyssa
Hi Seline,
I'm glad to hear that you are open to having your splash art being sold with AIA. As of right now, the AIA Team has shared that this year, we will not be able to give artists a commission fee. Profits will be used on LBX cost/materials and AIA event funding, with any leftover being used for overhead costs such as maintaining our websites and databases. Because AIA is a non-profit, you could claim your art to be considered a tax donation write-off of $300 if you're located in the USA.
That being said, we understand if after receiving this email, you'd like to opt-out of having your art being sold via AIA. We want to make sure you are comfortable and know that this is optional-- at the end of the day, it's your work! If you're still open to letting us use your art, we'd love it if you could sign your splash artwork and send it back to us. We are hoping to include credits to either the border or back of the print, so let us know what info you'd like to include.
We are really grateful for the work you had done for AIA in your time as a volunteer, and wishing you all the best!
Sincerely,
<Splash_Holiday23_ClairHuang.png>
Thanks Kim!
We do tax donations in Australia, so I'll keep that in mind when claiming for the next financial year.
Regardless, I am still happy for you guys to sell my work at the expo :)
Using my instagram handle as credentials is enough. I'll send over a copy with it soon.
Best of luck,
Alyssa

Thank you, and looking forward to your response!
Best regards,

To answer your question about signing your work, most of the artists have added their name and/ or social on the front of the master copy for us to print, so you don't have to sign it all by hand 😆.Hope this answers your questions and please feel free to reach out if you have anymore. Thanks! On Sat, Aug 17, 2024 at 8:20 PM Jasmine C. <jazzy....@gmail.com> wrote:Hi Kim!I'm still completely comfortable with having my art sold by AIA!
