Phoebe: Thank You and OPT Documentation Requests

Hello AIA!

I hope this email finds everyone well. I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank the entire team at AIA for the incredible experience I had while volunteering. Over the past year, I have gained invaluable experience and deep insights into the animation pipeline, which have greatly enriched my knowledge and skills. I truly had a fantastic time working with AIA and am grateful for all the learning opportunities and connections I made along the way.

I have successfully onboarded and I want to extend my best wishes to AIA for continued success. Additionally, I have two requests regarding my OPT documentation:

1. Official Offer Letter for My Volunteer Period

While I do have my onboarding email, my previous school’s International Student Office advised me that it would be beneficial to have an official offer letter stating my volunteer period(August 07,2023 to May 06,2024) and duties. Would it be possible for AIA to provide this document? 

2. Letter from Employer

AIA previously issued me a letter of employment in December 2023, which noted my end date as June 5, 2024. Since I officially ended my OPT on May 6, 2024, my International Student Office suggested updating the letter to reflect this change for consistency and to prevent any confusion with USCIS. Would it be possible to update the date from June 5 to May 6? I have attached the letter below. I would be extremely grateful if this could be possible.

Hi Phoebe, 

I updated the OPT letter, but I don't know if we ever had an official offer letter document for you, so I created one modelled after the typical offer letters AIA sends. CC-ing Vivian Le, our former head of recruiting as she is the one who typically sent them.
