We are in the process of filing our tax return for 2011.

 

We need copies of your bank statements from Jan to Dec 2011 and copies of your cancelled checks.

 

Pls either scan all papers and e-mail or send copies in the mail. We need them by 31st March.

 

If you have already sent them, please confirm.

Good morning parmaji,

National AIA has never responded to our request in the past, even on tax filling info.
But remember we are using national AIA's taxID and someone has to file tax info to IRS. Few local AIAs including me brought this issue of tax filings to national last year as well. It appears they are finally getting back to locals this year. By submitting our financial info to national releases us from all filing obligations.

Finally by law says we've to submit financial info every year. Past few years National nonexistent but now they are asking it. So we should provide it.

Regarding national address kamleshji has communication from them, l don't have any address or communication from them in the past other than email address listed in their website.

Parma jee- pl. check bank accounts/statements given to us at AGM.  If we don't have it, then naturally, it is still with last year's treasurer and we need it. But please double check all the paper with you.

 

Badri jee -I don't have any address except the email contact. If  we can have online bank statements from the bank, then it will be easy to forward, I think but not sure.

Milind jee - I am sure that you would have come up with some dates for the 2012 events, let us work on it. AIA has a very good status at this time. Lot of talented performers, 600+ audience and plenty of money.

Good Morning Board Members,   I contacted Madison City Parks Yesterday and Confirmed Aug 18th 2012 for India Day on 100th block of MLK Jr Blvd. I told them we'll submit the application when we get full details in a month or two. Venue is blocked under our name for now.   Regarding Villas Park for Picnic, park is booked for entire June, July and Aug months Saturdays and Sundays. As per my email below May 27th is the only date open for Mother's day. which is still open. June 3rd is not available as you requested in the meeting.

Let me know if May 27th is ok.

Nov. 10th is still open for Diwali.

Secondly I don't see a way to block the dates online. I will call tomorrow and check with them. Looks like we have to fill and submit the form. I would need times, setup info and equipment required. See attached form.

Set up time 4:00 to 5:00pm, event time of 5:00 - 8:00pm, dinner time of 8:00 - 9:00 and clean-up time of 9:00 to 10:00pm for both Mother's Day and Diwali should work well. The equipment listed for Diwali sounds quite comprehensive for handling the various types of needs in our cultural programs and should be pursued for Mother's Day as well.

 

Minimum 1 month gap between events should be OK, considerig that Picninc usually is not as demanding on AIA Board/volunteers due to participation and sharing of responsibiities by other community organizations too.

I have sent the request for any school's availability in Verona and Waunkee School which can hold 200 to 300 people. I would prefer the event should be no later than the 1st week of June, if possible but 1st week of June most schools have graduation ceremony going on. I have made some phone calls also, will let you know as soon as I get any info.
