Hey all.  I just wanted to suggest that everyone looks at pages 731-737 in the book (and a bit more before that as well).  It contains a lot of great information on how neural networks work and what we're dealing with, along with the back propagation pseudo-code, so that's pretty nice!  Hope it helps get everyone thinking.
