Dear colleagues,
I would like to share a brief reminder about our international study exploring how AI is experienced in museum communication practice.
Together with Dr Cassandra Kist, we are currently inviting perspectives from professionals working across museum communication, social media, and digital engagement.
The study explores how AI is used, negotiated, or intentionally not used in everyday communication work, including content creation, audience engagement, planning, and communication workflows.
We are particularly interested in understanding:
how AI is being used, negotiated, or intentionally not used
how these changes are experienced in everyday work
the opportunities, uncertainties, and professional reflections emerging around AI in communication practice
We warmly invite professionals working across museum communication, social media, and digital engagement to contribute to the study.
Your perspective will help build a grounded understanding of how AI is shaping communication practice in museums.
