Apologies for cross-posting.

Dear all,
We would like to invite you to take part in an anonymous online survey exploring how the growing use of generative AI tools (including ChatGPT) is reshaping user practices and expectations in relation to searching, discovering, and interpreting digitised and born-digital archival records.
The survey forms part of a research project supported by Loughborough University and is being undertaken by Dr Lingjia Zhao and Dr Matthew Kidd, led by Professor Lise Jaillant (Responsible Investigator).
About the survey
  • The survey contains 28 questions and should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete
  • Participation is entirely voluntary
  • The survey is anonymous, and no identifiable personal data will be collected
  • The survey will close at 23:59 (UK time) on 23 February
We are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience working with digitised and/or born-digital data in a research or professional capacity, including (but not limited to) researchers and students in higher education, archivists and other GLAM professionals, journalists, and those working with public-sector or government records.
Before taking part, please read the full participant information and consent details, which are provided on the survey landing page. If you have any questions about the study, please feel free to contact the research team using the details provided there.
Thank you very much for considering taking part, and we would be grateful if you were able to share the invitation with people who may also be interested.
Best wishes,
Matthew Kidd
(on behalf of the research team)
