The AI4LAM Speech-to-Text Working Group invites you to its next meeting on Tuesday, May 26 at 09:00 US-Pacific | 12:00 US-Eastern | 17:00 UK | 18:00 Central Europe | 03:00 +1 Canberra
Our topic this month will be file formats for captions and transcripts -- the various options, and the pros and cons of each. We'll discuss WebVTT, SRT, JSON and others. We'll be joined by Kate Murray, from the US Library of Congress, who will help guide
our thinking about this topic of fundamental importance for speech-to-text workflows. We'll also have an open discussion of formats we've each tried, and what has or hasn't worked well with each.
