Dear AI4LAM Community,

Hello everyone :)))
I'm writing from South Korea to say hello and introduce myself.

My name is Hyeji Jung—that's Hyeji as in "Hey-G" if it helps! 😂

I am the founder of ContextA, a newly established ed-tech startup (just one month old!) based in Seoul.

Why I'm here is:
While Korea is known as a tech-forward nation in the general AI industry, the adoption of AI within the Archival and GLAM sector here is still in its nascent stages.

I felt a strong need to bridge this gap, which led me to discover AI4LAM.

I was super super glad to find this community.

What I do:
At ContextA, my mission is "Practical AI for Archivists."

Rather than building massive foundational models from scratch,

I focus on:
- Orchestration: Using tools like Antigravity and Claude Code to build efficient IDE environments.
- Workflow Automation: Developing agentic AI workflows for records management, data control, and daily archival tasks.
- Empowerment: Working directly with practitioners to create "zero-budget" workspaces that immediately improve efficiency.

I am currently experimenting with various workflows to see how agentic AI can practically contribute to the daily lives of archivists, moving away from theory towards real-world application.

My guiding belief is simple:
AI without archives lacks context, and archives without AI lack scalability—but both are meaningless without human judgment at the center.

Call for Connection:
I'd love to hear from you.
How are you integrating AI into your daily workflows?
I am particularly interested in practical use cases where small teams or individuals have successfully leveraged AI tools.

I also noticed there is an online meetup coming up on Thursday, February 5th.(for me it's Friday morning tho 😂)

I plan to attend and would love to listen to the ongoing discussions and learn from your diverse experiences.

Thanks for having me.
I hope to share my own "small but practical" experiments from Korea soon!

Best regards,

Hyeji Jung
