The AI4LAM Speech-to-Text Working Group invites you to its next meeting on Tuesday, April 28 at 09:00 US-Pacific | 12:00 US-Eastern | 17:00 UK | 18:00 Central Europe | 03:00 +1 Canberra

This month we will continue developing our guide to ASR for LAM organizations.  The guide is intended as a knowledgebase and starting point for libraries, archives, and museums that are trying to use modern ASR tools to create transcripts and captions of their audio or audiovisual content.

One big question for this meeting:  Shall we consider using an LLM, like Gemini or Claude, to assist the drafting process?  We already have a good outline and lots of notes.  Perhaps some AI assistance can help us put these in a more useful form?  Maybe.  Let's talk about it.

Cheers,
