[FinRL Contest 2025] Starter Kit Release and Call for Participation!

Dear All,

We are excited to announce the release of the Starter Kit for FinRL Contest 2025—a competition about FinRL and LLMs to promote Open Finance!

 FinRL Contest 2025 Challenges:

• Task 1: FinRL-DeepSeek for Stock Trading – Build AI-driven stock trading agents by combining reinforcement learning and LLMs, using financial news and market data.
• Task 2: FinRL-AlphaSeek for Crypto Trading – Develop advanced crypto trading strategies using factor mining and ensemble learning to improve trading performance.
• Task 3: FinLLM Leaderboard – Models with Reinforcement Fine-Tuning (ReFT) – Train and fine-tune financial LLMs with ReFT and compete in the Open FinLLM Leaderboard.
• Task 4: FinLLM Leaderboard – Digital Regulatory Reporting (DRR) – Evaluate LLMs' ability in digital regulatory reporting: CDM, MOF, and XBRL.

• Paper Submission Deadline: Apr 1, 2025
• Paper Notification: April 8, 2025
• Paper Camera Ready Deadline: April 15, 2025
• Solution Submission Deadline: Apr 15, 2025
