We hope this message finds you well. We are thrilled to invite you to participate in the 4th ACM International Conference on AI in Finance (ICAIF-2023) hosted at 1 MetroTech Center, Brooklyn, NY. This year, we are presenting a series of innovative competitions designed to intersect the frontiers of artificial intelligence with the financial industry.

1. FinRL Contest 

   1. Summary: Challenge the norms of financial markets using deep reinforcement learning. Develop strategies that excel in the face of market volatility, and present your work at the ACM ICAIF.

2. Regime-switching Financial Time Series Generation

   1. Summary: Create generative models that effectively mirror the complex regime-switching behavior in financial data. Winners will have the opportunity to present at the ICAIF conference and potentially receive travel sponsorship.

3. Trading Hackathon Challenge

   1. Summary: Conceive an equity trading algorithm that thrives on synthetic stock market data. The most profitable strategies will be highlighted, and competitors will aim for the highest Sharpe ratio and total returns. 

   2. Organizer: Haibei Zhu (JPMC)

4. Financial Transaction Matching

   1. Summary: Engineer a groundbreaking model that automates transaction reconciliation, surpassing traditional rule-based methods. 

   2. Organizer: Tracey Lall (Operartis)

• For those selected to present, speaking slots are intertwined with the conference's main agenda or workshop sessions. Presenters must complete the conference registration and be present in person, as we cannot provide complimentary access for participants or victors.

• Official ICAIF-endorsed winning certificates will be distributed with pride by our competition chairs to acknowledge the exceptional work and innovation displayed.

• We must disclose that no allocation has been made for funding travel, accommodation, or prizes associated with the competitions.
