I hope this email finds you well. We are excited to announce a thrilling opportunity for all machine learning and finance enthusiasts at Regulations Challenge at FinNLP-FNP-LLMFinLegal Workshop @ COLING 2025! 

The financial industry operates within a labyrinth of complex regulations and industry standards designed to maintain market integrity and ensure reliability in financial reporting and compliance processes. Intricate financial regulations and standards have presented significant challenges for financial professionals and organizations. Large language models (LLMs) have shown remarkable capabilities in natural language understanding and generation, promising for applications in finance. 

The Regulations Challenge aims to push the boundaries of LLMs in understanding, interpreting, and applying regulatory knowledge in the finance industry. In this challenge, participants will complete a comprehensive suite of tasks to explore key issues, including, but not limited to, , domain-specific terminology, regulatory complexity, ethical considerations, industry standards, and interpretability.

Teams that participate in our contest can also attend the FinNLP-FNP-LLMFinLegal Workshop at COLING 2025 Conference, which will be held on January 19-20, 2025. Winners will be invited to present their work at the workshop. We welcome participants from all backgrounds and fields to join. Come to our challenge, bring brilliant ideas, and make your mark on the Regulations Challenge!
