We are bringing key social navigation researchers together in a focused special issue on “Social Robot Navigation – Opportunities, Algorithms, Tools, and Systems”, in Frontiers in Robotics and AI.

The Special Issue operates on a rolling submission basis, through Fall 2025:

- Last abstract submission for the year: 10 July 2025

- Last manuscript submission for the year: 13 November 2025

We are providing an opportunity for submissions to this track to be featured and presented at the Workshop on Advances in Social Navigation: Planning, HRI and Beyond, at the International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA 2025), which will be held on 23 May 2025 in Atlanta, USA.

- Manuscripts must be submitted to this Special Issue by March 31 2025
