This workshop focuses on how communication networks empower robotic autonomy and how autonomous robotic systems impose new requirements for communication infrastructures.
Topics of interest (Including, but not limited to):- Communication-aware perception, planning, and control for autonomous robots
- Network-constrained pose estimation, localization, and state estimation
- Edge-cloud robotics and digital twins for real-time autonomous systems
- Cloud-assisted learning, manipulation, and centralized perception under latency and reliability constraints
- Network-enabled multi-robot and multi-agent coordination in autonomy-critical scenarios
- Joint communication and sensing for robotic perception and control
- Heterogeneous network support (WiFi, cellular, satellite) for connected autonomous systems
- Communication requirements and architectures derived from robotic autonomy workloads
- Network-aware safety and robustness mechanisms for connected autonomous robots
- Evaluation, benchmarking, and experimental validation of network-constrained robotic systems
