[Job] Hiring PhD Experts in AI & Humanoid Robotics @ VinMotion

Dear All,

We are seeking highly motivated PhD-level Experts in AI and Robotics to join the Robotics Research Team at VinMotion (a Vingroup company) in Hanoi, Vietnam. These full-time positions focus on advancing Physical AI for our humanoid platforms, including Motion 1,2 and so on.

Key Research Directions: The successful candidates will drive open-world robot learning and physical execution across one or more of the following core pillars:

• Dynamic Locomotion: Advancing robust, perceptive movement over complex terrain using Deep Reinforcement Learning (RL), Sim2Real transfer, and vision-integrated Whole-Body Control.
• Dexterous Manipulation: Enabling contact-rich, bimanual object handling and mobile manipulation through imitation learning, skill primitives, and multi-modal sensing.
• Semantic Navigation: Developing 3D scene understanding, Vision-Language-Action (VLA, VLN) models, and socially aware planning to navigate unstructured environments like a human.
• Human-Robot Interaction (HRI): Building safe, collaborative workflows through physical compliance (pHRI), human intent prediction, and intuitive natural language interfaces.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Strong background in robotics, imitation learning, and reinforcement learning.
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks, strong C++ programming experience. 
• Experience with LaTeX for research drafting is highly valued.
• Strong drive to conduct independent, high-impact research aimed at top-tier publications while deploying on real hardware.
