Dear colleagues,

The University of Lincoln UK is now accepting applications for four-year fully-funded PhD studentships starting in autumn 2026 under the FoodBioSystems Doctoral Training Partnership. In particular, we have a project focused on Animal-Robot Interaction and Animal Welfare, which will focus on: 1. extending established social (human) navigation algorithms for navigating among bird flocks; and 2. robot sensing approaches for animal welfare and environmental monitoring.

Please share with your network and/or consider applying by the deadline of 26 January 2026 (10.00 GMT) !
