Dear Ai-Robotics Community,

We are excited to announce an upcoming full-day workshop at the 23rd IFAC World Congress 2026, taking place on August 23, 2026, in Busan, Korea:

Safety as a System Property: From Control Design to Data-Driven Autonomy

As autonomous systems are increasingly deployed in safety-critical domains — from robotics and transportation to energy and aerospace — ensuring safety can no longer be treated as an afterthought. This workshop brings together leading researchers to address one of the field's most pressing challenges: how do we guarantee safety as a system-level property across the full autonomy pipeline, from data and learning to decision-making, planning, and control?
