Applications are invited for a postdoc position within the Department of Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. This postdoc will work closely with Professor Cong Shi and Professor Jessie Yang, and their doctoral students to develop algorithms aimed at modeling and facilitating trustworthy multi-human multi-robot interaction.
We are seeking candidates who exhibit:
- Proficiency in designing and implementing reinforcement learning algorithms, particularly within the domain of human-agent/robot interaction.
- A robust track record of publications in reputable Computer Science, Operations Research, Statistics, or Electrical Engineering conferences or journals.
- Motivation to excel, the ability for critical thinking, and the ambition to develop systems that interact with humans in real time.
