 ************************************************************************************************

The ACM/IEEE International Conference on Human-Robot Interaction is a premier, highly-selective venue presenting the latest advances in Human-Robot Interaction. This year’s conference theme is “HRI in the real world.” We encourage the community to consider ways to bring robots from the lab into the real-world to push further HRI in practice and mainstream applications. Thus, we strongly welcome submissions that address this year’s theme, “HRI in the real-world”.

The Late-Breaking Reports (LBR) venue at HRI provides authors with the opportunity to present early-stage results and new ideas on exciting cutting-edge and experimental research. LBRs can be a position or proposal paper. Preliminary results, while sometimes helpful to provide support for an idea, are not strictly necessary if the idea is well-discussed and motivated. LBRs are an excellent opportunity for researchers new to the field to participate in the conference. We strongly welcome submissions that address this year’s theme, “HRI in the real world.

All LBR submissions will undergo blind peer-review and accepted LBRs will be published in the companion proceedings of the conference. These proceedings will appear in both the ACM Digital Library and IEEE Xplore. LBRs will be presented during the main conference. The final format for the presentation will be communicated in January 2024. Authors should be aware that accepted LBRs will be required to submit an accompanying video (maximum 2 minutes) at the time of the camera-ready submission.

LBRs should be 2-4 pages long (excluding references).
