Robotics Postdoctoral Positions at UT Austin Computer Science
We are seeking to hire several robotics postdoctoral researchers in the Department of Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin. Positions may be available in the labs of Roberto Martin-Martin, Joydeep Biswas, Peter Stone and Volkan Isler, with possibilities for joint appointments across labs.
Prospective candidates should have, by the start of the position, a PhD in computer science, robotics, or a related field, and an established research track record with impactful publications. Relevant research areas include reinforcement learning, imitation learning, VLAs and manipulation, multiagent systems, assistive robots, multi-robot planning and control, long-term autonomy, and long-term HRI. Experience with machine learning and robotics is essential.
Expected start date: August 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter
Duration: One-year appointments, with the option to renew for additional years based on performance and availability of funding
