Questions around setting up set piece taker options.

Hello all,

I am wondering if this is a bug in the game or weather there are some paramitors around it. I have set who I want my set piece taker to be for corners, free kicks and penalties however it's not often the player who I have set that actually takes them. Is this a bug or is this suppose to be the case as if it is it does not seem worth having the ability as the player I've set is not actually taking them.

I also wanted to ask a quesiton about the different manager atrebutes and attitude. What difference does what you pick make for example youth development and mentoring which is what I have picked.

thank you for your message and for your kind words, really appreciated.

About set piece takers: what you are describing could be a bug, but there are also internal match situations where the selected player might not take the set piece (for example due to in-game conditions). That said, I will check this more carefully, because your feedback suggests that it may not be working as expected in some cases.

About manager attributes and attitude: at the moment their impact is still quite limited and not always clearly visible. They are part of a system that will be expanded in future versions of the game, with more concrete effects on things like player development, mentoring, and overall team behavior.

So your choices are not “wrong”, but I agree that right now the difference is not as evident as it should be. Improving this is definitely in the roadmap.
