IE University is an internationally recognized institution originally founded as a business school. We consider ourselves the most international institution of higher education, with approximately 85% of our students coming from outside Spain and over 120 countries represented on campus. Our Madrid postgraduate campus is situated in the financial district of this vibrant, cosmopolitan city of over 5 million people. In 2021 we opened the IE Tower, standing as one of the 5 towers in the business district of Madrid, with capacity for 6,000 students.
The School of Science and Technology from IE University plans to grow in the next 4 years with a steady hiring of 5-6 new faculty positions per year and the launching of new undergraduate and graduate programs. The School’s vision is to build on the prestige of IE Business School (ranked 10th in Europe by the Financial Times) to create higher education programs and research groups geared towards training the technology leaders of the future.
We are looking for computer scientists, engineers, applied mathematicians and data scientists that can contribute to teaching in our programs and engage in some of our applied research labs in fields like healthcare, energy and environment, cybersecurity and finance within the Impact Xcelerator. Successful candidates should have a proven research track with top tier publications and excellent teaching capacities.
