We are pleased to announce the course Agentic AI for Life Sciences, taking place online on 6–7 July.

Agentic AI is rapidly changing how research is done, enabling tools that go beyond chat-based assistants to support coding, data analysis, and multi-step scientific workflows. This hands-on course provides practical training on how to use these systems effectively in real life sciences research.

Participants will learn how to:

Use modern AI tools for data analysis and coding tasks
Improve results through effective prompt and context design
Build interactive data applications and reproducible workflows
Connect tools to external knowledge sources
Apply best practices for responsible use in research

The course is aimed at life sciences researchers (ecologists, biologists, bioinformaticians, data scientists) with basic programming experience in R or Python. No prior experience with AI tools is required.
