Dear all: Hope all is well ! I wanted to reach out to you with news of an exciting program hosted by Google Research India from August 20 - 22, 2020.

We are hosting a virtual AI Summer School bringing together AI Research Leaders from all over the world to expose students to cutting-edge Research Ideas and Discussions. Speakers include global leaders such as Jeff Dean (Head of Google Research).

The Program Planning is led by a team of Senior Leaders at Google.

We are inviting applications from advanced Bachelors, Dual-Degree and Masters Students from CS, ECE, EE, and Maths and Computing Departments. Students from other departments with strong foundations in Machine Learning are also welcome. Since we have limited capacity, the program committee will review applications and select students for attending the summer school.

The program structure is to have an advanced Machine Learning School (taught at the Graduate Level) to discuss the state of art of a variety of ML Techniques and also discuss their limitations and critiques. A basic understanding of foundations of ML is necessary (sub-area knowledge is a bonus) and students attending the summer school are expected to have implemented ML models in the past. Further, there shall be specialization tracks in Natural Language Understanding, Computer Vision and AI for Social Good + Human Computer Interaction.

Given the limited capacity and the program format, selection will be competitive. The deadline for Application is June 22, 2020.
