To the AHS class of '87:

Well done. What a great gathering! I was proud of you when teaching
you (in 1981-1983), and am even more proud of you now. The 2 1/2 hours
I sent with you sped by. Maryn teased me that I'd said I'd only stay
an hour (yup, that's what I said).

Congratulations on all you have accomplished, and most recently a
great, memorable party!

Not only did we go back to reminisce about 20 years ago, but all the
way back to 7th grade! Who could ever forget what a fun and inspiring
teacher Mr. McFarland was? And what a great experience camping in
Yosemite was? I'm so glad you joined us for an evening of celebration
and memories. And Mr. McFarland, you looked the same!
