L4 l5 disk bulge nerve root compression

I have disk bulgle and it is compressing nerve root. this 6th week since i noticed the pain. Because of this I have pain in the foot
what would the cost and how many days will it take ?

I had a L4/5 disc prolapse/bulge and sciatica pain that rendered me partially paralysed in April 2013. Ever since I have been on medicines and treatment at Kottakkal Aryavaidyasala, Thrikkakara, Kerala. I took a total of 5 weeks of pizhichil treatment over a period of 3 years. In February 2016, with the consent of my doctor, I finally stopped all medications and started practicing bharatnatyam. Slowly but surely, the treatment has helped me. I won't say that I am completely cured but yes...now I know how to deal with my condition better. I have not compromised on my road travel or activities as a mother of a 6 year old.
I'm saying all this so that you know that there is definitely hope with the Ayurvedic treatment. Just hold on to your faith and listen to your body.

I pray that you get much better soon. You are such a strong person.
I had trouble with my C 4 and 5 disc sometime back, and did a combination of phsyio, traction and finally went to Kottakkal for about 3 weeks and was fortunate to be back to normal. There are some exercises for the neck, etc that I still do to this day.

I am not sure if you are asking me or Sindhu. If it is me then I refer to my detailed comment of October 2015 about ISHA, Rishikesh. I have heard first hand good things about treatment of this kind of condition from others although my wife didn't benefit for her Chronic Pain / Fibromyalgia. The physical modalities of the treatment are very hard. Taking a hot paste through nostril is the toughest of all but I think you can opt out of it because it is primarily meant for detoxification. My wife attended 2 sessions couple of months apart but couldn't complete the 2nd one as it was too much to tolerate.
It is a 5 day stay costing about Rs 20,000 in a small group of about 10 but very few groups are held each year. You may be already late for this summer but check with them. They have sessions in Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter periods.
All I can say from my wife's own experience is that Swami Aprokashanand seems to be a sincere hard working treatment provider and the Ashram doesn't seem to be driven by profit. Despite her not benefiting and in fact becoming worse in some respects she is still fiddling with the thought of going back one more time to give it another chance.
