Hi guys

Thank you for this group. I was searching for a way to be in touch and
update progress and was delighted to see this group.

I took treatment for backache, knee joint pains and for me things have
not been so bright.

After I reached USA, I have been feeling very very cold. Especially
with the oils. Pain kind of returned after I reached USA on January
1st. My treatment was from december 1 to dec 16th and I was in rest in
chennai till I reached here. I am very much on diet, staying away from
non-veg etc.
I went to bikram yoga to help me with the pain and things are worse
from then on. I am blaming it all on the bikram yoga and am on rest
and just some walking. Still doing my usual chores and hope to feel
better soon.

1. Does anyone feel chilly with the massage oils ? I am using
dhanvantram & valiyanarayana tailams.

2. Are you feeling fatigued/ tired after ur usual chores ?

3. Does your pains increase with increased physical activity ?

A special note to Mr Sivadasan & Chandriga madam happy new year to you
how are you guys doing - hope you remember me - i was in the next room
from yours. My regards to your children and hugs to your grandson !
Regards from ravi & aditya as well -

-best

Thank you, Revathi for writing in and I am sorry to hear about your
increased pain. Were you able to join the group?

As with your questions, let me inform you how I feel after my
treatment for back-ache:

On your query about feeling cold- yes, I do, feel cold, even in
Bangalore. :) But I think that is because our bodies are weak and now,
the temperatures seem lower than the earlier winters.

Its been about 20 days since my last treatment dates and I get tired,
very easily. We've been spoilt to provide our bodies with adequate
rest during those Kottakkal days and my guess is that we must try as
much to follow that schedule. :)

And yes, the pain does come back upon an increase in physical
activities on a particular day.

However, I have been doing regular yoga for the last two weeks and I
feel a lot of (positive) difference in my pain levels. My yoga teacher
is a therapist herself and so she takes care of me very well and
ensures that I do not do any yogic posture that can affect my back-
ache adversely.

Hope things get better with you, soon!
