thanks for forming this group. I came in for Rhemuetoid Arithritis n weight management. Only lost 3 kgs thats bec oo much weight to lose n 14 days is too short. Well I really feel about  85% better all my body stiffness is much better and i am on the medication. hi Revati i also feel u should rest until all ur medicines inluding oil massage are over. Slow walks should be good and rest is required another 3 to 5 months with light workouts until u feel normal.  No cold drinks and cold baths.
I still go for oil massage here to maintain and it is expensive. My regards to all. Personally I think I want to take care so that i do not have to come on a yearly basis.

love to all

Hi Everybody,
Thanks to Shruti  for keeping the momentum up.
It is more than two weeks since Bala and I reached in New Jersey. We had to get to work as soon as we reached here and got busy at work.
We tried to take as much rest in between and also not to get stressed out a lot We followed the diet as suggested by the dr. except last weekend when our son came back from college, splurged a little bit on the non-veg.
As far as I am concerned I don't have any noticeable change ( I had mild pain on my joints, shoulder, elbows and knees and cramps on my legs). I did it more as a preventive care since I was there.
Bala had tingling on his legs while sitting down for some time, that is a little better.  He still feel very tired by evening, lost few lbs.  We both feel very thirsty often and feel very hot in the night, wake up sometimes feeling hot an sweaty. I thinkl it has something to do with the medicine we are taking.

Net effect, we feel better if we follow what the Doctor suggested, take plenty of rest, follow a light vegetarian diet, don't stress out , relax, do daily yoga and exercise. But then I wonder if we do all these things religiously, our symptoms would have been taken care by itself, may be the reinforcement from kottakkal and the training is the bonus.

Dear all,

I do feel that things are much slower after treatment. Chores that take minutes are taking much longer to complete and I find myself puffing and panting.

But my body has definitely changed. My massage therapist noticed that my muscles the ones around my knees are much more elastic than it used to be and they are firmer but still giving in - in her words "they are now closer to how they should be"

So the treatment is still having effects on my body

Btw whoever doing yoga for pain, can u please mention the poses  and how long you are doing yoga in a day ? I am trying to find out what "mild yoga " is - that's what is prescribed I guess

Best of good health to all

Chandriga ma'am will call u sometime.

Yes Shruti I am part of the group now thanks

Revathi
