Hello I am desperately looking for any feedback on CIDP treatment that anyone has experienced at AVS. My 19year old son has this autoimmune disorder that impacts his nerves. Will be hugely grateful if there is any information / feedback / review that I can get.
Many thanks

Which city are you in? Arya Vaidya Sala has a centre in Delhi. My wife went there recently to check it out for her own Chronic Pain/Fibromyalgia. Had a consultation with a doctor there and toured the facility. She was not impressed. The place was stenching with oil and overall hygiene was not good. They were charging Rs. 82,000 for a 2 week in-house program. The place didn't inspire confidence. Now she is going to Rishikesh for a 10 day program at a yoga/meditation centre. I will be able to say something about that experience in a few days.

Having dealt with my wife's condition I can tell you that you have to seek your own answers by doing research on internet about alternative therapies, nutrition and life style. But beware of running after any sliver of hope. More often than not it turns out like chasing a mirage. Since it is an autoimmune disorder, start from the things that you can do on your own applying your commonsense like freeing up your body of all contaminants and toxins in modern day food, cosmetics, household cleaners, etc. It is to these contaminants that our body reacts triggering an immune response. For this you have to do a lot of research and develop good understanding of what things have gone wrong in our daily living like GMOs and pesticides and chemical fertilizers in our food; chemicals in our cosmetics and body cleaning products; etc.

To make it easy for people like you I have compiled all that I have learnt in a blog: https://yrusick.wordpress.com/. Start from there and go further.

Good luck.

Hi

I have autoimmune thyroid disease and I was in kochi for treatment of muscle spasms.

Call the kottakal centre and they will let you know right away if it can be cured with ayurveda or not.

I know of a friend who was suggested hip replacement in USA (35 year old ) and he could not take a few steps too. His diet was almost nothing.

He has been going regularly to kottakal since 5 years and today his lifestyle has greatly improved. He still does stretching for an hour everyday and leads a clean life - he is able to eat most foods now and he was in a recent trip to Disneyland and he was able to walk all of it.

So don't quit trying - ayurveda will definitely help to reduce the symptoms if not cure and it will be multiple times visit.

And if you want to go, go to kottakal . That's the main place.

And yes u will have the aroma of medicated oils because that's what they use to treat you.
