We had an excellent editorial in Saturday’s Sentinel, calling for giving Lake Apopka restoration priority over a new airport. You can call in an opinion vote at OrlandoSentinel.com/opinion.

 

The WOAA monthly meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 25 at 10 am in the Winter Garden City Hall. It should be a good one.

 

Our position paper is finished and you have been sent a digital copy. Use it to spread the word.

 

We are now forced to deal with Clean to Green dredging project that looks very suspicion. I need help tracking this stuff-I cannot continue to ignore my business to do it.

Jim has asked that I send you all a copy of the FOLA position paper. Since part of the mission at ONP is to educate about the restoration Lake Apopka it is important we keep informed on what is going on. I have copied FOLA board members also so they have a digital copy. 

 

I am also attaching contact information for the board of directors at SJRWMD in case you are interested in writing a personal letter. 

 

The Earth Day Workday on Saturday was deemed a big success. We got a lot done and had a good time doing it! Please remember Pat Burkett's presentation is this Saturday at 10.
