Dear All

Re. Mentoring Programme Opportunity (deadline: 10 January)

I hope this email finds you well.

Please see below and attached an opportunity to apply for a mentoring programme being offered by the University of Bergen (Norway).   This opportunity is funded as part of the Health Economics for Policy Impact (HEPI) project supported by the European Commission.

Application instructions are included in the attached document - please share this among your networks.  If you have any specific questions, please contact Dr Melf-Jakob Kühl (Melf-Ja...@uib.no).

Overview
The overall project aims to improve the quality of health economics education and the use of economic evidence in health care decision making in both Europe and Africa.  As part of the capacity-development efforts in this project, University of Bergen offers a comprehensive leadership training and career development programme over two years to 14 promising health economists.  It’s a blended programme with group seminars at different locations and individually tailored career mentoring.  We aim to recruit mentees from African universities or other research-focused institutions and government or regional agencies applying health economics.

Attached is our call for applications.  Please consider your network and distribute this call widely.  We especially encourage female health economists or professionals working with health economics to apply.  A strong support letter from their employers is one application requirement.  Deadline is 10 January 2026.

Thank you for promoting this opportunity among your networks.

We wish you a happy festive season and a wonderful start to the new year.

Best wishes
Alex
