Dear All,
As you will be aware, over the course of this year, SSEN Transmission has undertaken extensive consultation on plans to upgrade the electricity transmission network across the north of Scotland and we have received a considerable amount of feedback from a wide range of stakeholders regarding our proposals.
We recently advised in our next steps for 2030 network developments update, that following assessment of consultation feedback and additional options analysis, we would publish our Report on Consultations (RoCs). I’m pleased to confirm that these reports have now been published on our website and provide a summary of the feedback received, how it has been considered, which options we will take forward to the next stage of the development process and any changes to options initially consulted on.
You can view the Reports on Consultation following the links below to our dedicated project pages which also contain contact details should you wish to discuss anything in more detail. We plan to undertake further consultations in the new year as we look to further develop and refine each of these projects.
I would also like to extend my thanks for the considerable time you have spent in considering and contributing to the development of our proposals to date and look forward to ongoing discussions and feedback as the projects progress to the next stages of development.
