Hello all,
The club is currently planning to hold an Emergency First Aid course in the later part of February up in Aberdeen.
This course is designed for those who wish to have a basic understanding of first aid and how to look after a casualty whilst awaiting an ambulance.
Course content includes:
Managing an incident
Priorities of First Aid to include primary/secondary survey and recovery position
CPR
Disorders of the airway
Disorders of circulation
Control of bleeding
Burns and scalds
Segment on pelvic floor injuries, falls from height.
Location and exact date will be confirmed early in January.
In the meantime have a goodtime at Christmas and a safe and rewarding 2020.
