Emergency Parachute System – Coaching/Repacking Event – 08/07/21

Folks, AHPC are arranging a Reserve Parachute (EPS) coaching/repacking event, which will be held on Thursday 8th July 2021, 6:00 – 9:00pm, at Kingswells Community Centre, Kingswells Avenue, Kingswells, AB15 8TG.

 Al Bowman, who is a certified BHPA EPS Repacker and Kieran Campbell who attended a BHPA EPS course will be in attendance.  There are no registered/licensed repackers in the club so it will be a case of Al, Kieran and the more experienced repackers assisting those with less, or no experience.  New pilots can learn a lot about reserve deployment/repacking by just going along to one of these events and watching and assisting.

 Can you let me know (e-mail: amsm...@hotmail.com) if you plan to attend so that we have an idea of numbers?  In the e-mail include details of the reserve and harness (manufacturer and model).

 The event will be subsidised by the SHPF but there may still be a small charge.

Folks, please find attached a copy of the AHPC Covid Risk Assessment and also the Kingswells Community Centre (KCC) Risk Assessment.  We'd appreciate if those attending the EPS Repack event on Thursday 8 July could read them and comply with them.

If you'd to attend it would help us if you could let us know, please send an e-mail to the e-mail address above, or contact a committee member, with name, HG/PG, and manuf and model details for your harness and reserve.
