Subject: BHPA clubs Puffin insurance & Axa underwriters accident Argentina DO Not use
Just medevac'd from Argentina after a week of no action .
Got home second week
Me with a broken back.
I took out Puffin gold policy including section 3 paragliding underwritten by Axa .
At Home now it took trust pilot negative reviews to get any action .
Travel itinerary poorly thought out and poorly implemented seems a lot of penny pinching
Now I find out max pay out £250 per item of equipment(should have read the small print).Police confiscated wing pending investigation still there see part 1 trust pilot review travel insurance section(doesn't cover the whole story still putting that together for complaint to Axa and Puffin )Axa or puffin non competition slow to react lots of plans lots of promises . None of which happened.
Without wife ,British consulate and local lawyer and Spanish speaking friends intervening making multiple calls daily think id still be there appalling & stressful spend your money elsewhere .
Please pass on to other groups i had gold cover plus pack 3 winter sports and paragliding
I cant recommend puffin insurance or Axa be warned read small print seek out reviews.
I just don't want anyone else to go through the anguish and stress my family and friends have been going through
