Melanie Joy will be giving a talk and doing a book signing for
her new book on the psychology of meat, entitled “Why We Love
Dogs, Eat Pigs, and Wear Cows: An Introduction to Carnism” in
two Boston-area locations in January. Both events are free.

The first is at Porter Square Books in Cambridge. The event is
