Waterarms over firearms!

Greetings lovers of peace and non violence,

         Over the past couple  years been I’ve been developing a program that celebrates the Super Soaker as achievement of black excellence and an expression of non violence. Simply put, if water is the ammo, and water brings things to life, it should be  Waterarms over Firearms! In addition to my activities in Philly,  I’ve been able to travel to Turkey, Mexico, Iraq, Chicago, Morocco, Puerto Rico and Ghana with this message and a whole bunch of waterarms to give to people. 

The Buddhist new year Songkran has become the world’s largest watergun fight and I will be traveling there to rescue broken and abandoned super soakers from the festival. The plan is to ship them to Ghana and start a program teaching  kids to fix the broken ones. They can learn  engineering and plumbing concepts vital to water treatment and delivery which is one of Africa’s most pressing needs. 

            It is also an opportunity to reduce the waste generated from this Buddhist celebration! Good karma should abound!
