Hi Sriramachakravarthy,

As long as I remember , the following are the basic licences apart from what you have mentioned in the mail. I am not sure of recent developments if I have missed any. Please update me if there are any other required licences other than below you may receive from our fellow group members.

1. Trade Licence for any business from state government

2. Ultrasound licence - PNDT act

3. X-Ray or medical radiation equipment (The Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) of India is the national regulatory body and the competent authority for enforcing regulatory provisions for radiation protection in India)

4. Clinical Laboratory - DMHO Special permission depending on number of equipment

5. Registration of your hospital under A.P Allopathic Private Medical Care Establishment Registering Authority

Water,Air pollution licennce from PCB

 

if you are planning for liqued medical oxyzen tank you have obtain permission fron jont director of explosives chennai for south india.

 

there are nearly 280-300 laws applicable to healthcare depending upon the place where the establishment is located.

Healthcare establishments should also registerd with Labour Department Under (Labour abolisation Act 1971) as a principal employer to engage contract employes i.e Housekeeping Agency,Security services,Nursing Agencies to give Form V to Agencies.
