Greetings, AHDI Southeast members!
THIMA (The TN Health Information Management Association) has invited our AHDI members to attend their upcoming annual meeting in Murfreesboro. The dates for this meeting are coming at us quickly - March 14-16, 2011, but we wanted to be sure and pass along this opportunity for those of you who would be interested in attending and participating. NOTE: AHDI Southeast members can attend this meeting at the THIMA membership price.
THIMA has dedicated one particular break-out session to transcription on Tuesday, March 15: Nick Mahurin, CEO of InfraWare, will be speaking on "The Health Story Project: Transcription and Compliance." In addition to this one dedicated session, however, many of the other presentations would be of interest to our members and colleagues. Much of the meeting content will revolve around industry changes and electronic records. Take advantage of this great opportunity to get some of those hard-to-catch ML and TW credits. Step out of your comfort zone and learn something totally new. Explore new career paths. Make new friends.
