Reshaping AHDI Vote- Be Informed

Hopefully you have all noticed that the AHDI restructuring vote has started.

 

We all have concerns about our profession and its future. Whether you are a student or a veteran, this is a common concern many of you have shared with me. Many have also shared times when you supported or did not support the direction of the Association. I used that information to vote for you in the past as your delegate, but this time you, as members, are doing the voting.

 

Our region was incredibly vocal about our views on restructuring without having a plan. There is now a fully developed plan in place, and I cannot urge you enough to read it over and make an informed decision. There are some town halls being scheduled which I encourage you to attend.

 

This is most likely the single most important vote you will make for this Association. Whether you support it or oppose it, I feel you must vote and before you can honestly vote you need to learn what it is that you are voting on.
