Now that we have your attention...UCP Seguin and a statewide coalition of people with disabilities, families, service providers, and advocacy organizations need your immediate help!

Support SB955 and HB2960 which will provide a long-overdue solution to the state's caregiver crisis by raising starting wages for direct support professionals to $15 per hour.

Go to theydeservemore.com and contact your legislators and the Governor, urging them to support these bills.

Find the contact information for the Governor and your state senator and representative by clicking this link.

For the first week in May, contact House members at their local district offices, contact Senators in their Springfield offices, and contact the Governor in Springfield - but be sure to contact them!

Send a clear message - by phone, by email, by postcard, by letter, or in person:

Support SB955 and HB2960 - people with disabilities deserve more...they need caregivers who earn a living wage.

Share this with your family, friends, neighbors - everyone you know!

Previous bills have been stopped at the Governor's desk.

The situation is much too dire now to be ignored.
