Hi Ken!
GameStart is hosting a Fall Kick-Off Halloween Festival event on October 24th, 2015 and we would love if AHA! joined us! The event will be from 10am-2pm at our location at 2765 Plymouth Road, Ann Arbor.
Just like our previous festivals, it's a free community event targeted at kids 1st grade and up — featuring games, a Minecraft Programming Tournament, a preview of our courses, and more. It will be very similar to the Spring Festival in terms of number of attendees coming through the space and opportunity to showcase the AHA! amazing endeavors as a progressive informal learning community and within the larger Ann Arbor community as a whole. There’s no charge for a table, but we do ask that you commit to stay the entire time and that you offer an interactive activity for kids who attend.
Additionally, since the festival will take place right before Halloween, this kick-off will be appropriately themed and we would love if our partners could dress up for the event! There will be a costume contest for both attendees and partner participants with fun prizes including a free GameStart class session.
