Action items from 11/7 and 11/14

Hello all,

Here's an update on our action items from a few weeks ago. If you have
any updates/details to give, please reply to this and let us know where
you are at, and if you need any help:

** Stuff that has been done: **
- Josh has made events on FB for classes!
- Directors have been sharing those events on FB/social media of choice!
- Nate Y. has contacted Terrence, but has had no reply. :( He might be
busy with end-of-semester stuff, so I will try again soon.
- Michael G. is going to A2newtech tonight!
- Dana/Nate Y. went to A2gotech, and got a pretty warm reception!
- Nate Y. has contacted Sarah Dieleman about AHA hosting A2 Craft
Society (no response, either... :( )
- Tom and Michael G. have provided an update and are still working on
hackathon stuff. Needs help from others to fill in a few blanks in
their document about how the space is run (see the board thread).
- Tom and Michael G. have expressed more enthusiasm with "warm-calling"
various places about hackathons instead. We have been making a good
effort to spread our name around town in the last few months, so this
might be feasible. Thoughts?
- Dana and Khevna (and Nate, Josh) met about 501c3. We are just about done!
- Nate and Dana did not make it to the Electronic Lunch that week, but
we are planning on attending soon (Nate might go tomorrow!)
- Nate has got D&O info from Xander, forwarded to board list. Will
continue working on that in the upcoming week or so.
- Nate set up Tom with an AHA blog login that can administrate the site.
- Nate has suggested postponing further 501c3 meetings until someone
actually speaks with a lawyer. Nate plans on meeting with Matt Bower
ASAP, and has sent him an email briefing him on what needs to be done.

** Stuff that I don't recall hearing status on (apologies if I have
forgotten): **
- Dana, have you contacted i3 about classes?
- Dana, what is the status on the press kit?
- Tom, what is the status on the project page for the blog?
- Josh, have you gotten Tom the Google Analytics credentials?
- Josh, have you gotten Tom the Twitter credentials?
- Has anyone talked to John Spiher about what our liability insurance
covers?
- Dana, how goes the education/laptop grant?
- Josh, have you talked to Taylor about doing routine Thursday head counts?
- Michael G., have you talked to your mom about helping us with our
accounting?

I think that covers it. I might look into getting some sort of issue
tracker set up soon on our server to make this process a bit more
automated, and less prone to me losing/forgetting things.

Finally, I want to thank you all for your hard work, and point out that
this is some great progress. We have been meeting our goals much more
consistently! \o/

RE Project page: I've got some page drafts in wordpress, but I really don't know enough about AHA to complete them. I'll pop in again soon and send out a big list of questions I have.
