1) The School Factory is our fiscal sponsor. If people want to make a
donation over $250 to All Hands Active, they can get tax deduction
paperwork from The School Factory.

2) The School Factory filed form 990 to the IRS. This (from what i
know) is an annual tax return for non-profit organizations.

3) The 990 Filing includes our (and many other hackerspaces) basic
income / expense information for the year 2012. We were told in
somewhat confusing language that this would in fact be our tax return
for the year 2012.

4) The IRS says we can not submit our 501c3 app until:
4a) Our 2012 tax return is received and filed by the IRS. It will take
approximately 6 weeks after it is mailed to them to process.
4b) Our 2011 and 2010 tax returns are received by the IRS. Which can
happen after 4a has been processed (approximately June 22nd)

More details at tonight's board meeting. In the email below is an
opportunity for us to talk w/the school factory at 5:00pm (EST) this
Friday about the 2012 990 return.

Attached is a copy of the 990 the School Factory filed.
