3D printer is working, wiki updates, wiki help and more!

The 3D printer labeled creamcheese now works! We successfully printed a decent looking Cube yesterday! The prints look way cleaner but may take a bit longer than you are expecting. 

You will need to download custom set of settings to get it to work and replicatorg 0027 R2. Once that is done, just print!

Beautiful Tyler!

Thanks so much for all the documentation. I was able to plug in the
generic NOTEBOOK Laptop, download your configuration files and do a
print for a student's calculus project earlier today. Much
appreciated! The guys father took pictures, hopefully he'll send
copies on over.

Yes! Kudos on these comprehensive docs. It's a good example of the sort
of documentation we need to keep things running smoothly when our
"experts" are not around, and this is exactly the sort of scenario I was
hoping the wiki would facilitate. Very excited to see what all we can
do to flesh out our other tools and processes!

Awesome. Glad to hear it worked for you. The settings still might need some tweaking but they seemed decent. I'd love to see photos of the resulting prints to see if I can tweak anything else.

Out of curiosity... did you print with or without a raft? I was having problems getting it to stick without a raft because the new filament feed is so small.

Printed with a raft, things seemed to go pretty smoothly (with help from Dana). I'll post pictures as soon as I get them!

we should be able to use the same skeinforge settings for yours. I just need to replace a chip on it still

One thing I did notice with Creamcheese, the rapid back and forth movement of the platform in smaller areas can cause the makerbot to physically move. Is there a recommended / temporary way to secure the makerbot?

Move it off the crates onto a table. Mine has rubber feet on it which should help. I have spare rubber feet to put on Ox's also.
