If anyone Western MI is interested (or anyone else for that matter), Bill Madden (not the football guy) is starting an Arduino Meetup out in Jackson. 

He has a long history of working in the Auto industry on microcontrollers and programming in assembly. He recently picked up an Arduino, and is looking to get a group meeting regularly a bit closer to home

For those a bit further out in Western, MI, or just looking to hang out at more Arduino related events.
