Hello

Inspired by the explorations at Sadhana schools (
www.sadhanavillageschool.org)  we have decided to run a yearlong program on
understanding deeply questions related to learning, knowing and being.

*Please spread the news. If possible do display the poster attached.*

The program is for anyone who wants to go deeply in to various aspects of
learning process, education, how children learn, what is creative process,
how space hinder or awakens children's intelligence etc

This could help research scholars, looking for fresh and deep questions and also
teachers looking for insights in to how to be with children.

The program is designed in a manner to accommodate various possibilities.
We will be having ten day sessions every month for one year. One can join
the year long program  or come in for any sessions. For the year long
participants we have designed a systematic program where the focus is first
unlearn, then learn to observe/ experience and then go deeply in to the
understanding and recovering of one's biologically rooted learning process.

It will be a residential program and we can accommodate about 20 people.
Even though any one- parents, teachers or any one interested in creativity,
originality etc- could join it will also worthwhile for professionals like
architects, designers, psychologists, educationists  etc to take up this
exploration.

The idea is to experientially explore learning.

Primary purpose is to understand how one learns - what are the
limitations, biases, distortions and conditionings. So exploring the self
is the center of all activities keeping objectivity as the check point. Or
in other words rooted in subjectivity, exploring objectively. Keeping this
in awareness to explore how learning happens in nature, children, adults in
various paradigms (experiential, textual and digital) How cognitive
paradigms forms the person.

Experiential exploration to understand culture.  Examining how one lives
actually and what one has been made to believe as ones culture. (Socio
cultural space for conditioning, control, homogenization, freedom,
originality, authenticity, autonomy etc )

Exploring and awakening beauty, senses, feelings.

Documentation, sharing and dialogue with others. Co exploration with
people who have done work in some of these areas.

Sadhana Village, the organization which runs the school has a building
which can accommodate about 20 people. Roughly the fees per year will have
to be around Rs 50,000/ 60,000 and per session is Rs 7500. This will cover
food, stay and other facilities- books, expenses for Mentor etc . Personal
digital camera would be helpful in documentation and research.

please email us with a letter of intent.
